Young Crafters Unite! bloghop

Today's the day! Yay for that =) I'm so excited that you want to hop along! This is the first blog on the hop, so you're good to start here. But if you would like more information about this hop, please go check out the main bloghop page, by clicking the badge above =) If you get lost along the way, you can go to the list of participants I've published here.

Now, the basis for our bloghop today is about being young. I consider myself young of age, at (only) 23 years old. But I also feel like a kid at christmas again when fun, new papercrafting supplies come in the mail. I have also found back to a love of coloring my stamped images, much like a child loves drawing and coloring with crayons. So not only am I young, but I feel that crafting will keep me young at heart as well =)

I actually have three cards for todays hop. The theme for this hop is 'Our Favorite Things', and I wanted to focus on my favorite stamp company. But the more I thought about it, I couldn't choose just one favorite. So I narrowed it down to three of my favorite stamp companies, and made a card with each of them =)

I made a video showing how I made each of the three different cards. Please check them out below, or go see them on my YouTube channel here. The supplies for all three cards will be listed at the bottom of this blogpost.

Here are some still pictures of the three cards I made:

Card using Lawn Fawn stamps

Card using Paper Smooches stamps

Card using Hero Arts stamps

Now, all of these three stamp companies are favorites of mine. I love their high quality stamps, and their great stamp designs. I usually love working with their stamps, and making these cards were no exeption! These card also shows some other favorite things of mine. I love to use fun, cute images. I love to use bright, fun colors. I love to create scenes and mixing stampsets to create a new stamped image that noone has seen before. And I love making square CAS cards. All of these are apparent in my cards for this bloghop as well =)

I also wanted to share with you the top five favorite cards I've posted to my blog prior to this bloghop. It was a hard job narrowing down the list to only five, but I got there eventually =) If you'd like, you can check them out, but if you'd rather get on with the hoppin', I totally understand that too =) There's a lot of inspiration waiting for you on the rest of this hop!

Here's the list of my five favorite earlier cards:

- You Rock Card, using Paper Smooches stamps
- Get Well Soon Card, using Lawn Fawn stamps
- Monster Holding Flowers Card, using Paper Smooches stamps
- Gift Tower Card, using Lawn Fawn stamps
- Red and Green Christmas Card, using Hero Arts stamps

I also wanted to say a great, big thanks to our sponsors for their generous contributions of prizes for this hop! Please check them out, by clicking their badges below =)

That's it for my blogpost today. Your next stop on the hop is Aditya G
upta, with his blog The Craft Zone =) Remember to add comments here on my blog as well as on your way, so that you have a chance of winning a hopper's prize!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Have fun hoppin' along =)

Thanks for sharing the 3 cards you made. I liked the last card best.

It is nice that you didn't edit the 'real moments' when you were thinking of the matting or changing certain things. Makes me feel better when I'm staring at the card for ages thinking how I want to do it better.

Thanks for organizing the blog hop with Britta.
