Video: How to make open eyes on Lawn Fawn critters

Hi everyone
Today I have somthing to share with you, that I was quite excited about when I first got the idea. And I am still excited about it now =) In the video below, I am showing you how to draw open eyes on Lawn Fawn critter stamps. It gives them a totally different look from how they originally are, so fun!
Please watch the video below, or on my YouTube channel.

Here are pictures of the card I made with the cute rhinocerus and bird, both with open eyes. I think they both look so cute =)

I used two different colors of green ink for the grass on this card. I diecut the rhinocerus and cut out the bird+rock image to get the white outline, and drew out a simple word bubble for the sentiment. To give the images a tiny bit of dimension, I adhered the top of the rhino, bird+rock and the entire talk bubble with rolled up glue dots. That's a tip I learned from Kelly Marie at Lawn Fawn =) The bottoms of the rhinocerus and bird+rock images was adhered with liquid adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed the video today. If you too make something with this technique, feel free to leave me a link in the comments section. I'd love to come check it out =)

Quirky Popsicle Card

Hi everyone

Today I am sharing a card I made to enter into the current TAWS Be-Inspired challenge. The challenge is this inspiration photo:

I loved those three colors in stripes, and wanted to play along in the challenge. And when looking again, those colors reminded me of ice cream. And when looking at my limited supply of TAWS stamps, I realized that the one "monster shape" I had looked a bit like a popsicle. And then I knew what I wanted to make =)

I selectively inked the face from the jellyfish stamp, and used that to stamp a face on myt popsicle. For the popsicle stick, I used the oval-type shape for the bottom and a marker to draw the lines up to meet with the popsicle itself. I used copics to color the image.

Stitched Baby Tags

Hi everyone
Today I have a new video tutorial to share with you. If you haven't noticed, I love to create stitched images on my cards. Today, I am sharing a video showing how to use a die to make a stitching template. Here's the video:

These are the finished tags I made:

I also made a video showing how to make a stitching template with a stamp, for the Lawn Fawn blog back in April. If you'd like to see that video, as well as the card I made for it too, feel free to check it out on the Lawn Fawn blog here.
