It has been a long time since I made a card just to have fun, but since yesterday was World Card Making Day (WCMD), I decided I would sit down and play with paper, stamps and ink =) I wanted to use a new stamp set from Paper Smooches that I bought recently, and ended up using that along with some other stamps sets and a few colorful inks for my card.
I stamped the monster from Paper Smooches' "Ghoulfriends" in "Rose Bud" Memento ink. I then stamped a gift from Paper Smooches' "Santa Paws" using "Mint Julep" ink by Hero Arts, and filled in the bow part of the image with the same ink. The last thing I stamped was a crown from Paper Smooches' "A Lillte Lovin" with "Dandelion" Memento ink and filled that in too.
Here in Norway, when children have their birthday they get a paper birthday crown to wear that day, which is why I added the crown for this birthday card =) The image piece was matted with a diecut scalloped piece, made using a Spellbiders die.
